Irma Dragoshi (33)
From London
Attacked Tuesday 16th December 2003, Bath Road, Longford, West Drayton,
West London
The victim was a 33-year-old Albanian woman who had lived in the UK for three years. At about 7.30 pm she was standing at the Number 81 Bus Stop (near to the White Horse pub) in Bath Road, Longford, West Drayton (near Heathrow), West London. While she was waiting a second woman (and key witness) arrived at the bus stop. This witness has been described as an office worker with short/bobbed brown hair. Although witness descriptions vary, she was smartly dressed in a blouse and trouser suit and was taller than average.
Whilst
the victim was talking on her mobile 'phone to her husband, a black VW Golf
pulled up at the bus stop. A man got out and hit the victim over the back
of her head. Although it appeared to some of the witnesses like a mugging,
neither her bag nor her phone was stolen by the offender. He returned to his
vehicle and drove off. There may have been a second man in the car.
The victim was helped by the second woman and a man.
On 2nd March
2006 Levi Bellfield was charged with Irma Dragoshi's attempted murder, along
with the murder of Amelie Delagrange
and the attempted murder of Kate Sheedy.
Although Bellfield was found guilty of the murders of Marsha McDonnell &
Amelie Delagrange, and of the attempted murder of Kate Sheedy, the attack
on Irma Dragoshi remains unsolved.
